m3s, Maybe he's thinking about the money Nokia had set on the side in case they lost a infringement suit? We know MSFT when they bought Nokia they too assumed Nokia's liabilities so is it possible MSFT got that money that was set aside?
I'm pretty sure it was over 500 million.

M3S, my comment Microsoft got tons of money, I am referring to the monies that were withheld from the sales proceeds to pay of any potential liability that Nokia had if the case was lost. The contingent liabilities were included in the price they paid.
