I'll be digging a little more on the saint Gobain patent app I found, but for now it's just another purported use not confirmed. Interesting it is though ....

The specificity of the mention, "like that of Liquidmetal Technologies of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA" in the patent is the thing I find particularly noteworthy. They could have just said "bulk metallic glass" or some other innocuous term to describe the material. A 27 billion dollar company in Europe noting material of a little penny stock company worth, barely, 50 million. If not compelling, it is of interest. GL.
