"Orders for cadmium-free quantum dots will continue to be satisfied from Nanoco's production facility in Runcorn, UK, until the time that the Cheonan plant enters commercial production"

ok we shall see where this goes not much on volume from NANO..plenty of room for all and talking displays only imo..

And does Nano have a production factory to manufacture?

I believe QTMM does and I heard their QDX is far ahead of the Competition...

also why would "samples" need to be sent from their Korea factory when their UK factory is producing "dots"? already delays in the Korea Factory...these orders they are talking about should show up in Nanoco's financials..let's see what they show at that time..

I strongly believe that the advantage you perceive Nanoco to have is more real than imagined. I've looked at this hard and will share some more detailed thoughts on it soon but I will be out for the today. The bottom line is their CEO promised signing multiple deals by now which have not arrived. Why could that be? Nanoco need that factory to be fully operational just to match QTMMs current capability and the actual difference in commercial status and credibility verges between wafer thin and non-existent. If one were to put the QTMM she price on level pegging today, which I believe is warranted now even absent an announced contract we should be trading at approx. $2-4

Anyone can quibble with the above since there is no tangible news, but I will be commenting further

I saw these "borrowed" ideas last night and just laughed myself to sleep. One should be careful when repeating the ideas of LOL, the Masters, especially when they don't totally understand them.

You are correct, dms. The QD's for LG are being sold out of the UK until the Korean plant is up, running and validated. And, when you switch a customer over from one plant to another there are qualification trials. Yes, using "samples" from the new plant to confirm the products are essentially drop in equivalents to the one you are already selling them. I've been part of this process more than once during my career. Additionally, having two plants qualified by the end-user gives them an extra level of comfort because they know they have a back up, just in case.

Listen, I get it. We all want QMC's technology to be superior. Hopefully, it is. Regardless, for now, I'd be happy if it were just good enough to get a secondary position. That may not satisfy everyone's fantasies, but it would be a good start.
