I saw these "borrowed" ideas last night and just laughed myself to sleep. One should be careful when repeating the ideas of LOL, the Masters, especially when they don't totally understand them.

You are correct, dms. The QD's for LG are being sold out of the UK until the Korean plant is up, running and validated. And, when you switch a customer over from one plant to another there are qualification trials. Yes, using "samples" from the new plant to confirm the products are essentially drop in equivalents to the one you are already selling them. I've been part of this process more than once during my career. Additionally, having two plants qualified by the end-user gives them an extra level of comfort because they know they have a back up, just in case.

Listen, I get it. We all want QMC's technology to be superior. Hopefully, it is. Regardless, for now, I'd be happy if it were just good enough to get a secondary position. That may not satisfy everyone's fantasies, but it would be a good start.
