OGB works under the NYCDEP also.

It is awarded under the bid process.

Beyond getting the contract being the lowest bidder is hardly considered a plus.

OBG selected by New York State Department of Environmental Conservation
Company will help protect state’s communities and environment from oil transportation disasters

SYRACUSE – OBG, as part of a team with Parsons Corporation and Gallagher Marine Systems, has been selected by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) to help improve New York’s response capabilities for crude oil transportation incidents. DEC is working with local response agencies to enhance local spill response capabilities as part of Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order 125, which outlines steps New York is taking to improve local oil spill response and prevention to better protect the state’s communities and environment from the risks associated with crude oil transport.

OBG will assist the DEC with developing geographic response plans along the crude oil train corridor for emergencies and potential oil spills associated with the increased rail transport of oil across New York. The plans will provide strategies and tactics to respond to oil incidents in sensitive areas along the state’s rail transportation corridors and guide deployment of specialized spill response equipment, such as protective booms, to aid local incident response efforts. The program is based on a pilot program developed in Clinton County last year.

The OBG team was chosen for its extensive oil spill response experience, including response planning for the 2004 Athos I Spill on the Delaware River, 2010 Deepwater Horizon spill, and 2012 Boston 30 Barge Release on the Kill Van Kull in New York and New Jersey.

Basically OGB contract has zero P2O involvement in any way.

In fact , the contract they landed , if P2O was actually involved, would be considered extremely the worst case scenario for a company like P2O......cleaning up a hazardous waste oil spill.

Thanks.

Maybe keep an eye out and post when OGB gets the contract to clean up a kiln explosion or waste oil barrel fire.

LMFAO.

Did OGB land a contract to clean up a dumpster fire ?

Because that would be the kind of contract that pertains to P2O if OGB was releasing PR's about some sort of clean up.
