Agreed scottmith. ADVFN's post made perfect sense.

Nothing wrong with making money while your trying to make money...

Easier said than done (for me anyway, but in working on it).

In hindsight, it's always possible to call a perfect trading strategy for TPIV or any security. I wish it was so easy in real time.

In these clinical stage bio-techs, a stop loss can leave you out at a sharp, low volume, swing that leaves either out or having to get back in at a much higher price.

Or in a bigger decline, it saves you money and you can buy more shares cheaper or keep some profits. This time the better bet was the second one. Next time?

Some people are really in tune with the market swings. A combination of intuition and in sync chart reading. As all TA systems only work periodically, intuition is a big factor.

Maybe Dart did the same? - scottsmith

Dart is already a 10%+ affiliate of TPIV. 26.57% (click for detail)

So he can sell no more than 1% of the outstanding shares in any three-month period. He's locked-in tight.

I covered this in detail in this post.

The other warrant holders could have taken some profit, along with any other unrestricted share holders, but Dart has the restriction.

After full warrant exercise, three of the five warrant holders will all be 10%+ restricted affiliates. The bulk of the warrants.

One will be just below 10% affiliate level and the other just below the 5% level which has reporting requirements. Institutions often like to stay below 5% and generally below 10%

These institutions will own ~ 68% of the outstanding shares after full warrant exercise. Right now they own 51% of the O/S Pretty powerful institutional ownership for an OTC stock, or any clinical stage biotech.

That two are stepping up to become 10%+ affiliates and Dart is already an affiliate indicates very strong institutional support. This is a long bet as they are so heavily restricted from selling.
