#36987 RE: Ready4bluesky #36984

Are you implying that Woodford never has, nor ever will, lose money on an investment? Especially in speculative biotech? Will he be kind enough to tell you when he is about to sell so that you can mimic his moves?

If not, then I would suggest it means only that he may help with the financial outlook of the company he is invested in, in terms of financing their trials, but that has nothing to do with the science. No one knows if their P3 will be successful, and everything I have written about the tech being old and progression rates in the Direct P1 trial are 100% accurate. That adds to the risk here. How do you know how much vetting his analysts really did? Perhaps they were overswayed, being nationalists, on the adoption program in UK? And first PIM des? Of course, there are any number of failed therapies that had significant academic backing and grant funding.

Woodford will continue to pick losers with winners. That's why he spreads out so much. With NWBO I think it will fall under his loser pick list (and for sure he has a long one). Same with all the Billionaire heros (Icahn, Soros, even Buffett). It's not as easy as finding where they invest and copying them.

You may say Woodford has done well here, but no. He has bought up the price and cannot escape. His investment is illiquid. The entire thing hinges on the P3 success or failure. That's why he only lobbed 1% into NWBO.
