Going back and forth between activation methods and "resetting" the lab every time you make a vacc makes zero sense. No lab would run in such a way. And yes, a "batch" can be and in this case is a series of individualized vaccines. Just because the main ingredients in pancakes are mostly the same for pound cake doesn't mean the process is in any way similar. You would lose consistency if you made one pancake, one pound cake, one pancake, one pound cake, etc. 40 times. If you made 20 pancakes, then 20 pound cakes, your manufacturing space would be neater, more efficient, and each unit more CONSISTENT per batch than if you did a different set up every other time.

It's really quite simple =) NWBO had the first half of patient's vaccines manufactured with Method A activation, and then the rest with Method B.
