Indeed, it is the perfect application for the MVTG ERC and clean coal power to solve the CC-Carbon Capture and cost issues. Note that the Alstom-DOE grant description says it captures the pollutants, (including SOx, NOx and mercury emissions) as well as captures the CO2 and concentrates it, and reduces energy costs at the same time, all it needs is the MVTG ERC to convert the CO2 into a high value second product

(first product is cheap coal fired electric power), such as

formates, formic acid and Syn gas, so far with more MVTG ERC products being developed/perfected with the $449,000 Canadian Grant funding to MVTG (more catalysts to yield new products)!!!

And Alstom is already a funding partner to MVTG :-)
