#42939 RE: Raider21 #42938

Raider, To anyone that knows anything about Treasure Salvage. You and I have both pointed out that SFRX needs to follow the Trail.

There have been reports of coins being found on the beach in Melbourne after storms. The below quote also mentions Gold coins and belt buckles as being the reason that the other company looked for the wreck at site #3.
What isn't clear is where the Gold coins were found. As far as I know. Coins do not wash up on the beach if they are sunk in deep water. We know that coins have washed up on the beach at Melbourne. I believe Dr. de Bry even mentioned that.

''Gold coins, belt buckles and some other things have washed up on the beach near Sebastian Inlet after big storms,'' said Nancy Show, a permitting officer for the corps. ''I think that's what got them interested.''

We do know from the report 30 years ago. That ballast stones were found by the other company. Personally, I would concentrate a search from where the ballast stones were found to a point on the beach where the Gold Coins were found.

Raider, what would you do???
