I bought an iPad to take on vacation and spent weeks learning how to use it. I ended up buying a cover/keyboard. My biggest problem is I can't get the cut/paste feature to work, not enough of what I want to copy or too much! If I could add a mouse, it would be perfect.
Another problem I have is where to put files. WIN will always ask where you want to save a file. I downloaded some music but can't find it.
Then there is SIRI. He/she talks to you and is an assistant. But when playing Netflix or Hulu movies, SIRI thinks he is being spoken to and pops up!
I bought a cable, made by Apple, so I could connect my camera to the iPad to upload pics. BUT it doesn't work, tells me it uses too much power and shut my camera off. The iPad takes pics but with the keyboard/cover attached, it covers the lens viewer and removing it is a PIA.
In the end, I bought a cheap laptop, brought both with me and glad I did.

Hope this helps.

That is a hard question .. I have each and while I enjoy using my ipad I will not be giving up my "real" computer.

Technically, it probably could, I just prefer "bigger" keyboards and screens when I am doing big searches..

So, in the end, it really depends on what you do with each.

Broad enough answer for ya ;-)

And then there is the storage issue..

Seriously, that's purely a user preference life style thing and no one can tell you what you want to do your way. Cetainly each has it's use. No hard core gamer is going to use his tablet to play Battlefield 6 or whatever if they always use a mouse and full keyboard.

Kind of, will the toaster oven replace my toaster?
Is lobster better tasting than crab?

Is sex better upside down?

Get my drift?
