Well, they have to make enough for a ready supply for any internet sales, plus any retailers that want to stock the knife..plus orders already in. They have to keep a little ahead of demand. Don't want too much lag time in that area. So I guess the must be cranking out knives now just to have a ready supply in initial demand. That second machine should be ready to go by now. And if they are getting in RFQ's...they have to be preparing for contracts, which should go beyond needing just two machines. I think Steipp said they already have a second facility lined up. So a lot s going on that we don't know about. We just have to wait and see.

At this point I think the limiting factor is on the MA side. If I recall, Miltner is processing and sharpening each knife PERSONALLY!

But to answer your question directly ... One machine, while not ideal in that we'd have no down-time backup, can easily handle MA knife volumes.

By my estimation this product is no more than 1/3 of one machine's production capacity.
