They know that there is BIG business to be had here. They know that it is worth more then what the stock is trading at.
If they didn't, why would they guaranteed a specific number of cars and or sales?
They get there shares and the company does well (which it will) then the conversion of $0.02 means nothing when the stock ends up being worth more then the conversion price.
They get 25 million shares for the $500k... If the stock ends up at $0.04 they just doubled there money.
Guaranteeing the sales/number of cars will help boost the stock price and will allow them to recoup the $500k they put up.
