Does anyone know if this company ever considered making molds in-house using additive manufacturing? EOS GmbH makes a machine that has been used to make molds, directly from CAD drawings I believe, according to their website. One of the high schoolsin my city has one of these things. They're expensive, but not prohibitively so. I wonder if Mr. Steipp would consider deferring perhaps half of his bonus this year to acquire one. They could make quite a few molds with it, probably cheaper by far than subcontracting to a mold-maker.
