Peter, do you know of any statin trial comparing two statins against each other,especially one which is generic vs an expensive one ?
I just finished "Bad Pharma" by Ben Goldacre which appeared to be very well documented by the author, an MD himself although a Birt, regarding the extensive case of missing data, one of which is relevant comparison between different drugs/treatments whenever possible and there seems to be quite a lot of these missing opportunities (lol)instead of the preponderance of comparing against placebos and/or surrogate markers.
