#35091 RE: JSwy17 #35070

It goes like this. A site is courted. The site accepts. Cognate comes in and sets up shop for the site and gets paid by NWBO and pays to train the site. The site gets paid by NWBO for each patients treatment and the various services involved like things the routinely do anyway (bloodwork, etc). Pay for service and whatever else NWBO throws in. NWBO can give a grant to a site and if it's under $25K the FDA won't bat an eye and there needs to be no disclosure.

A bit of paperwork for the site and potential to get paid but nothing negative if no patient ever enrolls at the site (such as the many back when the German Label came out).

How many failed trials have gone through MD Anderson? How much negative have you heard about those failed trials? Exactly!
