I had planned to buy back some enta but now in view of this, I am not sure. Methinks there are better risk/reward ratios out there than enanta right now.

I still have my 4Ksh of gild I bought Apr2014 at 65 when Yellen mumbled about biotech values being over valued lol.

the enanta game now imo is a waiting game to see whether Abbvie guidance for 2015 end yr run rate will come true or not.

However retailers may not have to wait til Xmas to find out. Next qtr will give a hint whether end yr target is reachable or not.

The CFO's 10b5-1 plan doesn't claim the only reason for selling is to pay taxes on exercised options; rather, it says that paying taxes was the impetus for establishing the plan in Dec 2014:

The sales reported in this Form 4 were effected pursuant to a Rule 10b5-1 trading plan adopted by the reporting person in December 2014 to provide liquidity for tax payments due on account of prior option exercises.

Ditto for the 10b5-1 plans by ENTA's other executive officers.
