First of all I did not purchase the Mind Flex headset from Neurosky I purchased and used the "MindWave Mobile: MyndPlay bundle". It barely, I mean barely works in picking up brainwaves. If you have to sit there all day long trying to get the barrel to burn up or the ball to float. There is no commands you can give the computer with your thoughts to open windows, surf the web, or even dictate a message like what a paraplegic person would need as it has been touted by others like MSI ads. This headset has a single probe to the forehead. In short I asked Neurosky can I control a computer with it and here is what they said back to me in an email:

Our EEG headset is capable of measuring the EEG raw wave, power spectrum and Attention, Meditation, however reading users' thought is out of its working range, so I'm afraid it couldn't meet your requirement. Please directly contact your reseller to obtain your refund.

So now you understand, do you guys really think MSI has the NeuroSync working better than this? I am just being honest with everyone here. I am not trying to bash, even though many perceive me to be bashing.

Stockman, not even medical level BCI's costing $thousands can do what you're asking. I believe that misconception has largely stemmed from statements and sentiment by many shareholders here on this very board. And, by statements repeatedly made by Fouch and his cohorts over and over again.

This misconception is a clue as to why no BCI device is advanced enough to be disruptive technology", and certainly not at the level which some here have posited.
