Multi..no problem.

My understanding is anyone in Brazil or Mexico or the Malaysia can walk into their fav. store and buy a Dect phone for $10. Yes and cross border cell phones will still be needed, except if Strat Web blankets a continent, and yes for transoceanic travel. But that becomes the minimum, if all this is possible.

I think a side investment would or should be in Dect phone manufacturers near term. Anyone know who they are?

Yeah, I'm excited, but not overly emotional about it, and your call for temperment is warranted, clearly.

But today, for the first time, I truly "got" and understood technically, and marketablility, and structurally, how this company's plan works. Previously, I had bits and pieces of some of the divisions, but I was never able to connect the vertical and horizontal structure integration completely in my mind, until today. Am I the only one that came away feeling this same way today? Probably why I got it is, I am used to dealing with techies and my job prior was to market the idea and concept, to turn it into revenue and profits.

Well engineer Huff, hit right into my marketing sweet spot today, and I see a homerun lick-chompin' major money investment opportunity here...particularly at these prices.

One of the most telling and repeated several times comments made by Huff today was this. Each of these divisions are stand alone profit centers, acting independently as seperate corporations, sharing technology and interfaces with each other. We did this to reduce liability issues, and allow them to become independent free standing assets contributing to the whole. (Paraphrased, but I think a fair one.)

IOW... any one of them are for sale or partnership at the right price...my read between the lines.

All of which, if executed, would inure extraordinary benefits to existing shareholder value.

Yep...I got it..

Agreed multi. Those companies will not be run out of business but they will have to change the way they do business. They will need to adapt to what GTE is doing to keep the money flowing in. Take Verizon for example. They spend 22 Billion dollars a year just maintaining and upgrading their network. They can afford to lose a few customers but when you lose too many, downsizing may occur, the network doesn't get repaired as fast, corners get cut, service suffers. Now you have this giant network to spend 22 bil on because you can't abandon it and fly strats all over the place and subscriber revenue is way down. No they wont go under but they will need to adapt. I guess all i am saying is there is gonna be a new chapter written, a new player born, and they, verizons and AT&T's, need to prepare for the day cuz it may come sooner rather than later
