The CEO called the shareholders sheep and parrots a long time ago. I believe he's no longer pontificating because:
1). No one believes a word he says (my opinion).
or
2). He's got nothing to pontificate about.
The management commentary section on the Q1 was basically a copy of the 2014 annual report.
Now...on the profitability.
Who gives a crap about profitability??? This is a growth company...at least, that's what I've been hearing for the last five years or so. The costs can keep going down, and the revenues can keep going down. If the company is profitable in that example, what is that going to mean to anyone? The company needs revenues!!
The argument was always about the company doing well when revenues are growing without regard to profitability. Now, the revenues are down, and profitability seems to be the catch-phrase now. Not directed at you specifically, but the board in general.
As my pal Beezerr used to say....."You can't have it both ways"
