What was inaccurate? That post was from over 2 years ago and almost a full year before the charges were supposedly dropped. So as of the time of the post it was 100% accurate.

Christopher Davies was arrested for drug possession. That remains a fact whether or not the charges were eventually dismissed or not

Fact is that he also was disciplined by the Hearing Board of the Illinois Attorney Registration because of the arrest and lost his attorney's license

http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=113749574

That Hearing provides the details of the arrest and of the dismissal ("Respondent" is of course Christopher Davies):

https://promotionstocksecrets.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Christopher-Davies-Disciplined.pdf

1. On November 29, 2012, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Respondent was seated in a white Cadillac Escalade, Florida license plate number 865 WUP, hereinafter "Escalade," in the parking lot of the "Promenade," a strip mall located at the intersection of Wiles Road and Lyons Road in Coconut Creek, Florida

2. While Respondent was seated in the driver's seat of the Escalade, Marcus Lockhart, hereinafter "Lockhart," entered the front passenger seat of the Escalade and engaged in a drug transaction wherein Respondent bought approximately 12.8 grams of Methylone, a schedule I controlled substance, from Lockhart for approximately $800.00. The transaction was videotaped by Gerard Andrews, an agent of Crispin Investigations, and turned over to Coconut Creek police

3. On November 29, 2012, at approximately 4:35 p.m., Respondent, driving the Escalade left the Promenade parking lot and was subsequently stopped by Coconut Creek police officer Hofer.

4. Coconut Creek police officers arrested Respondent after smelling marijuana coming from the inside of the
vehicle.

5. Respondent advised the police that he had "just bought some MDMA and it is in the car.

6. Coconut Creek police recovered from the Escalade two small baggies which subsequently tested positive for Methylone, in the amount of approximately 12.8 grams. One baggie was recovered from the Escalade driver's console, the other bag was recovered from a compartment in a small black piece of luggage with the initials "CKD," located in the Escalade.

7. On December 21, 2012, Broward County State's Attorney Michael J. Satz charged the Respondent with the felony offense of unlawful possession of a Schedule I controlled substance: 3, 4-Methylenedioxymethcathinone (Methylone), in violation of Florida statutes 893.03(1)(c)40 and 893.13(6)(a) in the matter of The State of Florida vs. Christopher Davies, case number 12-17400CF10A

.
.
.

10. Respondent, through his attorney, filed a motion to suppress physical evidence and statements in
State of Florida vs. Christopher Davies, case number 12-17400CF10A. The motion to suppress was heard and granted by Judge Lisa Porter on December 5, 2013.

11. On January 7, 2014, based on Judge Porter's December 5, 2013 ruling, the charges against Respondent were dismissed pursuant to the State's Attorney's motion to nolle prosequi the matter, State of Florida vs. Christopher Davies, case number 12-17400CF10A.

Those are the facts.

Davies bought illegal drugs and got caught by the police in possession of those illegal drugs and subsequently lost his license to practice as an attorney because of it.

That obviously hasn't stopped him from scamming investors out of money in penny stocks like ATHI

"dismissed on January 1, 08, 2014"

Ah yes, who can forget where they were and what they were doing on January 1, 08, 2014.... The day that never was, as some say.

Hay Chris - simple question: did you buy the Methylone or not?

Well, that's ONE story. The police report paints a different picture. The police report indicates that Christopher K. Davies made a voluntary purchase of $800 worth of hard drugs and knew he was purchasing a hard illegal drug (report states Davies made a voluntary statement that he believed it was MDMA that he had just bought).

Frankly, I'm more inclined to believe the police report (indeed that reports states that there is videotape evidence of the transaction) than I am to believe either: (1) a brand new iHub alias just created to answer Nodummy's post and spew a storyline, or (2) an attorney who lost his license in Illinois and has a very sketchy track record of issuing opinion letters for pennystock scams. And I particularly would not believe a story spun if (1) and (2) were indeed the same person.

In sum, I find your post unpersuasive to convince me that Christoper K. Davies did not in fact make a voluntary purchase of hard illegal drugs knowing and/or believing at the time of purchase that the drug was either Methylone (MDMC) or MDMA.

Sure sounds to me like a serious crime occurred and was unsuccessfully prosecuted because of a legal technicality. Butt then again, that's just my opinion.

This reminded me of the claim that Christopher K. Davies was somehow FORCED to buy $800 worth of hard illegal drugs:

"In brief rambling comments, Meyer told Duffin he had been extorted himself "for the last seven or eight years," arguing that drugs were planted in his car last fall when he was arrested on unrelated drug charges. Those charges are pending in Florida."

http://www.jsonline.com/news/crime/bail-revoked-for-gambling-guru-charged-in-25-million-scam-b99478259z1-299205361.html

Except with Christopher K. Davies the police report states that he PAID $800 for the Methylone (MDMC) and knew that it was illegal hard drugs (police report states that Davies admitted to a belief that it was MDMA - Ecstasy).

That's worse than just having a cop find drugs in your car. And the police report states that they have a videotape of the VOLUNTARY purchase of the illegal drugs by Christopher K. Davies.

It's indeed unfortunate that Christopher K. Davies avoided CONviction because of a legal technicality, least in my opinion.
