#242111 RE: aleajactaest #242110

Hi alea,

"a contract may deny wave the right to release information that it is not otherwise obliged to release. "

Never seen one of those, including from AXA. Clearly the "government agency with significant security requirements" didn't have such a restriction. Now, of course, Wave Systems along with AXA may be unique, but I doubt it. A client cannot stop a company from announcing a sale of a product. "Wave Systems announced today a deal for VSC 2.0 in the commercial sector." (followed by a paragraph or two of the value-add of VSC 2.0)

Anytime this sort of conversation happens regarding stealth deals, the client's requirements for secrecy, etc, the reality has been there wasn't any deal. At least not yet.

We also don't know that there was a purchased "30,000 afw transaction" yet. A sku doesn't mean there is deal. A sku means there is a product to be priced out.
