Talk is cheap, Walter. Results are what matter. We have lots of the former, none of the latter.

I can understand why some people are upset. If I stayed home to watch it I'd be pissed too.

I'm feeling pretty good about where LWLG is right now. The delays are frustrating but the company is on the right path and they finally have all capabilities in-house. There is going to be a lot of progress over the next few months. The next set of test results that we should expect are the photo-chemical bleaching data...something to do with the stability of the light in the chromophore maybe. It sounds like this will be the last set of data that we need to complete our "data sheet" that Tom's been asking for to present to potential partners. I'm guessing the white paper could be put out after that, but I'm not so pressed on a white paper anymore. I think these guys are trying to hold their cards close for a good reason.

I was able to speak to each LWLG employee there and they all were very positive. I asked George, Tom, Andrew, and lab guy Steve all separately if they thought they were going to succeed in commercializing this stuff...they each said yes without thinking too much. Don't worry that Joe or Siraj weren't there...doesn't matter. Fred L is still helping it sounds like. Steve couldn't contain his excitement supposedly when he heard Fred L was involved. We have a solid group of people at this company.

Steve E and Lou B are going to have a field day in this new lab...those two go way back and about a year ago Lou called Steve up and offered him a job...Steve said hell yea. They're gonna get sh!t done.

No one wanted to answer why there was such a long delay in the lab...whatever we have it now. Maybe they told someone else so please chime in if you got an answer.

Some other notes I have....

We could make 500+ grams of pure material now if we needed to...we'll outsource that.

If I had to guess our r33s right now are around 40-60...the target is 100. Tom was confident we'll get there.

We're targeting devices that operate at 90Ghz with less than 1v drive voltage...were currently at 38Ghz and 2.2v...again they're confident they'll reach that.

The addition of the ridge waveguide modulator is good. This is for telecom applications as opposed to datacom for the slot waveguide modulator...correct me if Im wrong but does this mean we now have a material that works in telecom wavelengths...we knew we were OK for datacom.

Got clarity that the bleached waveguide modulator is proof of concept only and that its too slow for commercial applications.

I had fun asking a couple people questions I knew they couldn't answer...just to see how they reacted. I really just want a darn partnership with IBM.

That's it for now...it's a nice day here in Colorado.

Walter and Coolair it was nice meeting you.

PS - Mark Smith of Niocorp was at the meeting and is a LWLG shareholder. I'm thinking of buying some of that.
