Also, from erthang's interview, Dr. Moro said something about "if you put too much out, people don't believe you", which I think is why the PR's have been deliberately un-sensational. I also think its why the tidbit about the colorimetric assay wasn't included in the first of the latest PR's. He doesn't want to trigger anyone's "incredulity" threshold, if that makes sense.

mysscat: I agree, but keep in mind that every biotech out there uses what Kag calls "hedge" language when discussing the capabilities of their technology. It is standard practice.
