Ever heard the term "ghosting"?
It's where one person in a relationship won't break up with the other one by being straight up. Instead, the person will gradually fade away...stop calling, stop answering calls and emails etc...just leaving the other in limbo. Usually the other person will wise up sooner or later.
Reed is "ghosting" his shareholders.
