If there is a 4 - 8 month lag time in sales (I believe that has been put out) then the question becomes how much effort have the sales team put into this latest development of the product. Could there be sales in the waiting as the technology evolves to where it is now with this latest release? If their sales team is good enough, well.......

You can make fun of the quest for sales, installs and revenue but let's face it, that will be the proof. A decent forecast at this point would need revelations of some positive commitments and not just a "we think this will sell" line.
