Hypothetically speaking WeeZuhl a junkie could go out and purchase a high speed centrifuge that could go up to about 50,000
RPM. The junkie would take all of the capsules apart to collect the beads containing the opioid and the Naltrexone. After collecting from a few thousand capsules the junkie pours the contents into the centrifuge cups opposing one another. Make sure the junkie has a triple beam balance to balance the cups before throwing them on the centrifuge. Also make sure the cups can be be screw top sealed to prevent any leaks.
Now... with all of the beads in the two cups perfectly balanced crank the centrifuge up to about 35,000. The beads may separate themselves according to weight. The lighter of the two rising to the top. If this doesn't work try cranking the centrifuge up to 50.000 RPM. Hopefully the polymer wont burst under that type of pressure. Even at 35,000 RPM it may be touch and go.
The junkie will have to spend about $25-$35 thousand for the centrifuge. And there is no guarantee this will work.
Yeah. Just give them time. The junkies will figure it out even though the independent lab could not using household items during HAL studies.
Sounds like a high speed centrifuge would be worth it to me.
