I'm interested. How will it be defeated?

the junkies will figure it out and I know exactly how they will do that.

Let's face it, the two beads are completely different substances and therefore will be separable by some means. I tend to doubt it will be junkies who figure it out, and I doubt it will be able to be done with home equipment or household supplies.

But I bet there will be a black market for these capsules. Similar to Suboxone, they can be taken orally to keep withdrawal symptoms at bay until the next dose of heroin can be obtained. Also, abusers who do not wish to swallow them whole will sell them or trade them for more easily-abused hardshell OxyContin that can be charred and then snorted/injected.

There will be a trickle-down of illicit capsules to a few national "wholesalers" who will develop some system that is feasible only with economy of scale- thousands of capsules at a time. If I were the Walter White character, I would devise a machine that used a puff of air to exploit the aerodynamic differences. You could use a series of chemical reagents to use color changes to exploit differences in surface charge. And of course, get me a fast enough centrifuge and I could separate anything.
