Try and understand the economics here . For one person to gain it does not necessarily mean another has to lose ...its not 0 sum.
The idea is to create competition as well streamline costs Competition can drive down costs The bigger the pie ( profits from patients to insurer ) the more the competition from insurers. The bigger the pie , insurers can accept lower profit per patient because the number of patients has increased.
So ObamaCare has added $16m patients to the insurance companies register...more profit for them but at a lower rate per patient.....for most , not all patients.
I agree it needs fine tuning ...but on balance I support Obamacare. JMO Kiwi
Montana: The problem of medical care is a moral one. Do you let the sick die while the wealthy get care locally(if it is even available in a system where nobody pays) or go elsewhere for treatment.
