Jonny,

You are saying that king David did not go to heaven?

How do you interpret the verses that I posted where Paul says that it is far better to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord?

How do you explain the souls of the martyrs in Revelation, conscious and crying out for God to avenge their martyrdom?

How do you explain Moses and Elijah speaking with Jesus on the mount of transfiguration?

How do you explain Abraham rejoicing to see Jesus come to earth?

John 14:2-3

2 “In My Father’s house (on earth?) are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you (on earth?).

3 “If I go and prepare a place for you (on earth?) , I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am (on earth?) , there you may be also (on earth?).

I love the definition of meek:

Blessed are the meek; for they shall inherit the earth.

This one seems hard to believe. Maybe this is how we believe the world should be, but not how we see it.

Emmett Fox describes meekness as meaning a mental attitude which is the secret of prosperity or success in prayer. It is a combination of open-mindedness, faith in God and a realization that the will of God for us is always something joyous, interesting and vital, and much better than anything we could think of for ourselves. This state of mind also includes a willingness to accept this plan of God's will coming in the way He wants, not as we choose.

Moses is an example of this kind of meekness. He had an open mind, and was ready to be taught new ways of thinking and doing things. Emmett Fox says of Moses, "He was not, in the beginning, free from serious faults of character, but he was too big for intellectual or spiritual pride, and therefore he gradually rose above his defects, as the new truth worked in his soul."

Jonny,

Are you a Jehovah's witness? Who is Jesus to you?

There are only a very select few that will make it to heaven to reign as kings over the earth, it's the 144,000

The only place I have heard of this sermon is in the Kingdom Hall. I have been there so I know where you are going with the 144,000 and the rest of the Kingdom Hall living on earth.
