To eliminate that conundrum of MOD's trying to eliminate another MOD's opinions from the IBOX

What conundrum? It can't be done. The ibox is advertising, good or bad, and mods can't touch other stuff.
It's pretty much a moot point. Want to bet the ONLY people that see the ibox are the new people to view the board for the very first time and that 99% of the rest of us have hidden every single free stock boards ibox instantly?
Thank goodness ihub gave us the ability to HIDE an ibox.
I can't imagine having to wait through 27 monitor pages for all the stupid blinking jpgs to load for each post. OMG.
