It's actually a pretty big deal. Less steps and less cost. Also, less wasted material and less recycling of waste = greater efficiency

Strange that the two patents that came out today and as you say, deletes the process of cutting off the "cookie"
and therefore no polishing the rough edge....and also today....this paragraph..(below)...from a larger announcement....
that's kind of saying the same thing....about the morphium process.....Hmmmm...was this just a strange coincidence??
