This is good news because of a few reasons already stated on the board. first, it increase shareholders equity and second it increases $mine revs. You ask why Level 5 would let 10% go? If they were trying to part ways why wouldn't they just part with 50%? 60%? Or hell, all of it? IMO, they know the potential and the only way to get there is allow an increased stream of Revs.
One could ask, "well if they wanted that (increased revs) why don't they give them 50%, 60% Or hell, all of it?" I can only assume because they want to maintain a steady flow of revs themselves as $MINE grows. 10% isn't a crazy amount, but it's a start. I think Level 5 sees the potential and wants $MINE to succeed (hell they'll make money off them as they do). If the company does succeed and turns national and huge success, then $MINE will have to negotiate a deal to buy the rest, and that's when Level 5 will make a GOOD amount of money.
The underlying theme of my OPINION on the situation, is forward looking. I believe Level 5 and $MINE are both looking far into the future and know this will be a success. I believe the 10% is party in "faith" as well. I know business is messy, but sometimes when companies give their little brother/sister a nudge down the success path, karma comes back around to reward those people.
The above statements are all my opinion.
