Was Schott not going to test some of their 200 or so 'off the shelf' glass types for compatibility/usefulness with C-space? How hard is it to dope glass with phosphors? They might not have an optimum glass type in stock, but if they have a sku which works ok, make up an 8 inch block of it for a product demo. We know with the new Z-axis scanner that C-space is scalable, the hold up on size is the glass.
