You misinterpreted what I said. I said that any editor of a large newspaper, and I know several, would vet a company, paid or not, before they'd publish a piece in large part about the company ... and others. If you don't believe this, you really don't know how the newspaper business operates. I worked for a major one early on in my career and I can assure you this is how it's done.
