If 4k can be streamed @ less than 4mbps, then ultraflix will have a 100% penetration in the USA and, if the whole world is considered, we are talking billions of potential costumers. Those people who bought the 11.7 million 4k TVs sold in 2014 worlwide will flock from their current content providers that require 25 Mbps to ultraflix with ONLY <4mbps requirement to test/ enjoy their 4k TVs. Ultraflix has every thing to gain while those juggernauts have everything to lose.

Nope, it is very possible to stream 4K @ less that 15Mbps-->> "Now COGO promises 4K Ultra HD streams on superslow 10Mbps broadband..

That is a trick statement as anyone technically can stream 4K at 4mbps, but at that res and compression it's a smeary slide show. Absolutely no reason to do so.

What's really odd is nanotech, the principle or anyone associated with nanotech entertainment ever said or quoted 4mbps... only and always 6 mbps. Not even the principle going to prison soon would be silly enough to make that claim. Don't know where that came from. But it wasn't from ntek directly.

And, btw, any 4K stream HAS to be compressed and schmooshed below 25mbps. There's not enough metal in your cable going to your house to stream pristine uncompressed 4K in the first place. But reality doesn't sell pinky stock.
