I don't know about any merger(s). Wialan does state on otcmarkets.com that: "The public company vehicle also enhances Wialan's ability to grow through synergistic acquisitions that are planned within the Wialan business model."
Maybe some shares were being moved into "position", in accordance with the aforementioned.
