What bothers me the most about that is that the press always labels it as "Manny just being Manny" as if he doesn't know any better.

amazing display, wasn't it? and as a fan of mister bonds, it was nice to see someone "do something worse" than he. really surprised unit didn't give him a shave, and can't help but wonder what the rocket would have done. okay, gotta run - just wanted to comment and say hello. on my way to RFK for a matinee, and hopefully a series win.....

Since when does a player hit the ball well A-Rod said he knew he hit the ball well but didn't know the direction it went in. At first he believed the ball was foul behind the plate BEHIND the plate? Then starts running and looks at the first base coach and does a twirling with his finger.

Manny isn't the first nor the last to watch his HR and is it any different than pumping one's fist after striking out a hitter? There is no justification for deliberately throwing at a hitter no matter what they have done.
