Your missing the point. There are many ways to play with the ask and the bid. Typically in l2 prices that are way above where it's trading will always show 10k. The amount doesn't change until the current price approaches that specific l2 price. Then the amount on the bid and ask will change. So saying 100k in shares takes this to .01 is incorrect and skewed way to look at it. Of this was the case I could buy a 100k at market and we should be at .01 but I guarantee if you do that it ain't going to come close.
