ex divi date is the 29th....you must own it by then but cant sell it till the 2nd....

Yes.. if you have the stock or purchase by the 28th of April you will receive the dividend on June 1. The stock trades "Ex dividend" the 29th of April meaning you would not receive the divy for those shares this June but would be available on the next payout if you still held them.
