I have no idea what industry standards apply. Every license for IDCC 2g IPR seems to be different regarding its terms. I hope that 3g will be more uniform and predictable. If 20.3 mil from Ericy/Sony is representative of pre 2003 sales, then perhaps we can get a rate. I am sure someone has posted the number of phones sold. However, we must also get a breakdown as to the technology involved in the phones. I am sick of tea leaves and am just content to see what happens. I am not a big fan of arbitration as you have probably guessed by now. My standard advice over the years is demand an arbitration clause if you owe money under a contract and refuse the clause if you will be seeking money under a contract. we do not know how the rates apply in the Ericy/Sony license. It is just a guessing matter.

I am still waiting to be surprised.
