Why wouldn't Saleen go to an event like this?

Because they have over $1 million in deposit due. They are paying for events to generate demand and visibility when they can't deliver on car already paid for or with deposits.

This is just to feed their PR releases and pump.

95% of the ressources should go to making sure they deliver on the more than $1 million in deposits they owe.
