The problem is that by the time VLDI is "good and ready", some larger and far more well known entity comes out with a product that equals or surpasses what VLDI has to offer.
Don't get me wrong here, I have a fine stake and wouldn't be here if I thought that VLDI wasn't on to something. My point is VLDI needs to be good and ready sooner rather than later. What time frame that actually is remains to be seen.
And in a moment of complete and utter wild ass thought, would it be a pleasant surprise to everyone if we wake up one morning to discover that one of those larger entities in this business woke up and discovered that VLDI already has what they need and offers a buyout at some ridiculous price?
