No-clue on that Hal, although I would be surprised if QMC mngmt didn't keep a close eye on related developments coming out of Rice. As you know, the Rice TQD patent is QMCs' primary patent , having as much (or likely, more) importance that any of their other patents & they recognize Rice as being at the forefront of all things 'QDot'. At-that, I can only speculate that they may-well have their finger on the trigger for key Rice patents & I suspect QMC may even have some preferred status from Rice insofar as being at the front of the line for related patent licensing. Like LANL, Rice licenses their patents to the licensee they feel has the best chance of making-a-go of it so the patent licensor (Rice / LANL etc) has a better chance at capitalizing on their patent thru commercialization revenues that result from that licensing.
