Agreed, but I think the DIP loan would be used perfectly for a hardware upgrade from a reliable 160 to a reliable 260+

After all we do know the 95 mil will be used to help GTAT realize sales and pay immediate expenses etc.

What if they are just working on the various, tweets, temps, and "magic" that it takes to get the recipe right?

From what I have read the main issues were around scaling up and improving yields at the same time. Admittedly much easier said than done.

I agree that a need for a hardware change might stymie the sales of the current 2000 ASFs for customers that want the larger boules. But it did not seem like that was the issue.

If they just need to get the recipe right and perhaps change or upgrade the software, that could be easily sold with the existing units, IMO.

What do you think?
