I too think The Voice has more talent; I race through a lot of the chatter, but like to hear the advice given to the talent. A lot depends on who the guest judges are each season.
1- jax- entertaining but odd for us "older" generation, but the judges didnt like it.
2- nick- hated it like all his other songs.
3- quentin- very good until he had to try to be like "Prince" but his lower "register" voice was nice and quite good.
4- joey (from my town where i grew up in va).. haha, omg, they said she has "crab hands" and they in fact were right where they showed her "pinch" her hands, as if she had a sock puppet when she sang. so, she avoided that move in her next song. she was good but she still copies that idiolect that all the girls, and some guys do, to copy the singers of today.
5- Clark- OMG!!!! bluesy, soulful, not the best guitar work ever but wow! yet, the judges were rough on him, go figure. I guess it was too manly sounding for this day and age.
6- tyanna- her best yet considering i never like her sining. but she had real emotion as she connected it to her gramma. she wore white shorts with such a nice outfit, so, just go for the pants and be professional imo.
7- rayvon- awful.
8- qaasim- horribly awful.
oh, and hudson (idol return) had a wardrobe malfunction from what i could see. you tell me.
