It's all pretty simple really as to why the Amiga Games have now gone.

http://awesome.commodore.me/16520/

Basically Cloanto now owns the rights to a lot of Amiga related software including the Classic OS and Kickstart ROMs. The Kickstart ROMs are actually pretty vital as these are required to get the Amiga computer running. Anyone who even has a slight understanding would realise that this locks anyone out of making a working emulator/game package to sell without first going to Cloanto and getting a license to use the Kickstart ROM. That's unless they decide to not package the ROM with the app. Which lets be honest would be pointless.

It would appear that Amiga Games Inc might not have had as much clout as they claimed. So was a needless purchase.

If others haven't appreciated your contribution, it's probably because they've done a modicum of reading posts here and realize you aren't the expert you think you are. Your posts about the technology and structure of RII/AGI have been fud based on assumptions (likely pulled out of your echo chamber over at moo bunny.) You don't appear to have done any research into the technology or structure of AGI/RII, which isn't any harder then just reading posts here on Investor Hub and some of the interviews that were done, or even emailing questions to RII/AGI. At least to the best of my knowledge I never answered any emails from you when I was involved. I assume, if I had, you would have posted the replies here like others have done.

AGI/RII never sold any products for the Blackberry Playbook. Amiga Inc did not sell that line of business to WRIT. I think I've seen that mentioned a couple of times in this forum, and it was in one of the early interviews- IIRC Retro Gamer Magazine.

AGI/RII's emulation solution does not require a license of any intellectual property owned by Cloanto. I think that's been in at least 2 interviews, and IIRC it's been posted in this forum in a reply I sent to an email inquiry.

Let's see...what other fud have I seen you post over the last couple of years...

Amiga Inc and Amiga Games Inc aren't the same company. You could have look that up on the Washington Secretary of State website, but I know I've seen it here in a copy of an email reply I sent to someone.

Bill McEwen was no longer in any executive or management role at AGI after AGI was sold to WRIT. He was retained as an outside consultant to facilitate transfer and maintenance of contracts sold to WRIT as part of the AGI deal. I know I've seen that here as well, but it's also on the WA SoS website and IIRC in the first update to shareholders that occurred after the sale.

What I don't understand, and maybe you could help me out with this, is why there are people like yourself still trying to kill anything Amiga related. You can stop. The platform war ended for Amiga when it died in the 1990s. You're beating a dead horse now. Some of us have fond memories of the system, and we'd just like to do some neat Amiga things to celebrate our nostalgia. There were a lot of great games on the Amiga. It's not going to hurt AtariST or DOS or Nintendo or whatever platform you were a fanboy of back in the 1990s to let people celebrate the Amiga.
