Basically Cloanto now owns the rights to a lot of Amiga related software including the Classic OS and Kickstart ROMs. The Kickstart ROMs are actually pretty vital as these are required to get the Amiga computer running. Anyone who even has a slight understanding would realise that this locks anyone out of making a working emulator/game package to sell without first going to Cloanto and getting a license to use the Kickstart ROM. That's unless they decide to not package the ROM with the app. Which lets be honest would be pointless.
It would appear that Amiga Games Inc might not have had as much clout as they claimed. So was a needless purchase.
