How hard is it to use the company's/CEO's obviously fraudulent, public statements as evidence of criminal intent/action?
Very frustrating that conmen can flat out publicly lie about "business" operations and are not held accountable. Repeatedly stealing millions and getting slapped for thousands isn't much of a disincentive to crooks.
So... why don't we just eliminate the Form 15 sneakhole? Say, wanna go dark? Fine. Stop trading, you're no longer publicly traded.
