Hi Ray,

Take a look at RAVI or SHV or SHY. They all remain reasonably close to their NAV and don't vary in price a lot. However, they can and do drift in price slightly.

Hi Ray, You might look at SPFF. It has a very small 52 week range - 14.35 - 15.15 - and it pays a dividend monthly of 6.7% annually, essentially 0.5%/month. If you keep some in cash for smaller buys and put the bulk in SPFF, the dividend you earn will more than pay for the trading costs.

Best,

Allen

Hi Ray

I try and sell PUTS about 6 months to a year out on stuff I own that I would want to own more of at prices I am willing to buy more of. Ideally I already own at least 500 or better yet more than 1000 shares already (one option contract is 100 sh)

If it gets put to me I wanted to buy more, if it doesn't I got a premium for holding cash.

Some things don't have enough volatility to make it worth selling PUTS.

I also sometimes sell calls at prices I am willing to sell.
